Wordsmith Quill has an adventurous past as an investigative journalist, artist, and longtime hobby treasure hunter. One of her more interesting undercover assignments involved being disguised in full makeup, wig, and costume as a clown in a circus show. It may or may not have also involved riding an elephant as part of the performers’ parade entrance. She has a large library of material on Ancient Egyptian history, particularly on the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, and is a firm believer that you are never too old to actively pursue your dreams.

Puzzler Compass is a world traveler who has lived abroad as well as visited France, Japan, Australia, the U.K. and more. In her youth, she was an avid puzzler even while competing in beauty pageants. She won a “Miss” title for her hometown as a teen. If she solves one of the million-dollar treasure hunts she is now pursuing, she dreams of setting off to scuba dive in the Galapagos Islands and enjoying gourmet delicacies on a round-the-world adventure. She believes that treasure hunting and puzzles are key to staying sane in an ever complicated world.
